What We've Accomplished Together
The Medalist Club was founded in 1987 and is one of the largest gymnastics’ booster clubs in America. From inception, The Medalist Club has a long list of achievements:
First club in the nation to establish, fund and award postgraduate scholarships
The club has its own youth organization, Tide Tykes and Teens, to help promote the Crimson Tide Gymnastics Team through its younger fans
The club has employed part-time college students to assist with marketing activities, event management, and day-to-day operations
The club has funded key upgrades—including a Swiss Wing, video replay system, sound system, and study hall computers—to enhance athlete recovery, training, and academic support.
Why We Exist
The Medalist Club is the official booster club of the University of Alabama Gymnastics Team. Your support of The Medalist Club allows us to provide post graduate scholarships, to deserving Alabama Gymnastics Alumnus, each year. It is the most incredible support and also provides ways to get connected to the Alabama Gymnastics Program, meet the team and the coaches. We look forward to our annual Kick Off event in the Fall, the fan bus trips, the fundraisers, and the post-meet receptions.
