Medalist Club End of Year Banquet

At the end of last season, the coaching staff and team asked if we could make some changes to our end of the year banquet.  You see, at the time that we traditionally host this banquet, the team and coaching staff has normally just returned from a lengthy post season, and the ladies are preparing for final exams.  Needless to say, many of the ladies have a tremendous work load during this time.

To that end, Coach Duckworth has asked us to create a “kickoff” celebration at the beginning of the season as opposed to a wrap up at the end.  By moving this event, the club has a two-fold benefit:  First, Medalist Club Members have a first-hand opportunity to gain a preview of the team and their current readiness level for competition; Second, we have a great opportunity to grow the club for this club year.  By changing the event to a kick off as well as changing the timing, new members will be able to participate in our events immediately, as opposed to waiting until the next club year.

With that said, we need your support by attending this great event to support the team and coaching staff.  We will host this event at the University of Alabama Basketball practice facility (directly adjacent to the Frances Smith Gymnastics Practice Facility at the back of Coleman Coliseum) immediately after “Ghosts and Goblins”  on October 21, 2018.  Doors will open at 5:00 PM and the event will officially start at 5:30.  We will have a tail gate theme for this event.  Please feel free to dress in your casual Alabama gear!

We will need for you to reserve a spot at your corresponding membership level.  Please reply to this e-mail correspondence indicating your request and the number that will be attending.

Thank you for your continued support of Alabama Gymnastics and the Medalist Club.

Roll Tide!
